Mechanism of Action

What This Bottle Is

An empty fine-mist nasal spray bottle with a metered pump: every actuation dispenses 0.1ml as a fine mist. Supplied empty, as a laboratory accessory alongside peptide orders, for research use only. The bottle ships in white or black depending on current stock — function and pump volume are identical.

Why Nasal Application in Research

Several research peptides — PT-141, Semax and Selank in particular — are commonly studied via the intranasal route, where the nasal mucosa offers direct absorption. A metered spray bottle makes that route reproducible: every actuation delivers the same 0.1ml volume, so a dose can be expressed as a simple number of sprays.

Filling and Dosing Math

  1. Reconstitute the peptide in its vial with bacteriostatic water as usual.
  2. Draw the solution with a syringe and transfer it into the spray bottle.
  3. Each spray now contains a fixed amount of peptide: mcg per spray = total mcg in the bottle ÷ (ml filled × 10).

The peptide calculator has a dedicated nasal spray mode — it computes mcg per spray from your vial and reconstitution volume, and can recommend a reconstitution volume that lands on clean round numbers per spray.

Handling

Keep the filled bottle refrigerated like any reconstituted peptide solution, and prime the pump with one or two actuations after filling. Rinse thoroughly with distilled water before refilling with a different solution.
